In 1992, builder Pete Bikas turned his focus to health construction trends and identified the perfect niche for his company to fill. Since then, Bikas Building of North Carolina LLC in Durham has served the Triangle as a full-service commercial completion and retrofitting company with a focus on business offices, health care facilities, and medical, dental and retail spaces.
Over the years, Pete watched as health construction trends evolved to meet baby boomers' aging demographics and needs. He responded by expanding Bikas Building's capabilities to update outdated facilities into state-of-the-art outpatient clinics, offices, X-ray rooms, health care facilities and medical laboratories for physicians, dentists, veterinarians and other health care professionals across the Triangle.
Today, health and medical businesses are turning to Bikas Building for an experienced, environmentally friendly approach to retrofitting their clinics and facilities. Pete and his team ensure quality work and expertise, while remaining mindful of their client's budget, timeframe and privacy during construction.

In September 2009 Lisa Herrington joined Bikas Building as Director of Business Development. Lisa brings a passion for problem-solving and exceptional service to the building industry. With over 15 years of accomplishment in health care administration and customer relationship management, Lisa is delighted to assist clients in creating work spaces that are functional, inviting and cost-effective. Her interests include architecture, interior design, health care reform advocacy, environmental policy, outdoor adventure travel, and fitness.
In September 2009, Bikas Building of North Carolina LLC also welcomed Keith Hill as the company's new Project Manager and Estimator. A Triangle native, Hill has an extensive background in project management, design, industrial and manufacturing engineering, and product development, in addition to estimating. He also has 25-plus years of experience in the wood products industry and 16 years in commercial construction.
